Terms of use

Plain terms for a simple product. Using RAISE means you accept them.

  1. 01

    What RAISE provides

RAISE is software that lets approved creators publish ideas and lets anyone contribute toward a funding target. RAISE does not manage projects, employ creators or guarantee that any funded idea will be built.

  2. 02

    No investment advice

Nothing on RAISE is financial, legal or tax advice. Backing an idea is not the purchase of a security or a promise of profit.

  3. 03

    Risk

Onchain activity carries risk. Tokens can lose all value. Creators can abandon projects. Smart contracts can contain defects. You are responsible for what you contribute and you should never contribute more than you are prepared to lose.

  4. 04

    Wallets and custody

RAISE never takes custody of your wallet or your keys. You approve every transaction yourself. Lost keys cannot be recovered by us.

  5. 05

    Targets and refunds

A raise that reaches its target launches. A raise that expires below target does not launch and contributions are returned to the contributing wallets. Refund logic runs onchain and is not discretionary.

  6. 06

    Creator approval

Launch access is granted at our discretion and can be withdrawn. Approval is not an endorsement of any idea, creator or token.

  7. 07

    Acceptable use

Do not use RAISE to impersonate others, publish illegal content, infringe intellectual property, or manipulate raises through coordinated wallet activity intended to bypass per-wallet limits.

  8. 08

    Eligibility

Do not use RAISE if doing so breaks the law where you live, or if you are in a jurisdiction where token distributions of this kind are restricted.

  9. 09

    Changes

These terms can change as the platform develops. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
